Christ the King Church is the roman catholic church serving the parish of Salthill.
In 1992, under the guidance of Canon Jack O’Connor, the church was renovated and redecorated, totally repainted, carpeted, and the sanctuary was reordered in an effort to make the two naves “less divisive”. Colm O’Riain was the architect for this project. 1996 saw the provision of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel which has become a central characteristic since then.
The parish priest for Salthill is Very Reverend Gerry Jennings PP.
