This is achieved through accurately displaying aquatic life in a manner that reflects their natural habitats, providing an enjoyable and educational environment to learn about the diverse marine ecosystem of Ireland. As Ireland’s largest native species aquarium we strive to ensure that a visit to the aquarium is original and full of wonder for visitors of all ages. As we are Irelands largest Native Species Aquarium, you will find a large selection of animals from the west of Ireland. We have two floors and over 70 exhibits, so there is something for everyone. We offer visitors tours and interactive feeding sessions, as well as special birthday parties for kids and group tours. Family Fun At Galway Atlantaquaria we also run two fun family days every year, these days are usually in June and November. The traditional days include face painting for kids, fun science, creative arts ‘m’ crafts and many more special events. With free parking and excellent disability access we try to ensure that your visit to the Aquarium will be a memorable one, and create wonderful stories that last long after you leave. About our staff Aquarium staff are qualified in the field of marine studies or are experienced biologists. They offer the visitor a unique insight into the Sea and love to share that knowledge. Join us for a tour and hear what they have to say.
